Chelsea duo David Luiz and Danny Drinkwater were pictured in training ahead of watford clash.
The Chelsea pair were both expected to miss today’s clash with Watford but now look set to be available after all.
Drinkwater is yet to play for Chelsea since signing from Leicester on deadline day, as he suffered a calf injury shortly after his arrival.
Luiz started in central midfield during the 3-3 draw with Roma on Wednesday, but was substituted in the second half and manager Antonio Conte said he also had a calf problem.
With N’Golo Kante crocked and Tiemoue Bakayoko also a slight doubt for today’s match, there were fears of a central midfield injury crisis – but things are starting to look up.
Incredibly, Watford are actually above the Blues in the table right now, sitting in fourth position, so Conte will be desperate to overhaul Marco Silva’s upstarts.
